Hollis Silverman, the former Chief Operating Officer of José Andrés’s ThinkFoodGroup, is now full time restauranteur and the genius behind the Capitol Hill trio: La Collina, The Duck & The Peach, and The Wells. They focus on hyper-seasonal, curated menus.
La Collina (meaning The Hill in Italian, a nod to the neighborhood in which it’s located), draws inspiration from classic Italian osterias and the simplicity of their cuisine. It’s a place with big tables made for gathering and connection with family and friends.
I created everything from sticker labels and butcher paper for take-home food during the pandemic, to menus, way-finding signage, events packages, and elements for social media.
I’m honored to have been asked to do branding for such a wonderful set of restaurants with so much woman power behind them!
