Sometimes, I make really weird things
“Mastering the art of stupidity since 1998”: these are illustrations for Wait Wait’s 20th anniversary that I did alongside writer -slash- producer -slash- person extraordinaire, Jennifer Mills. The client wanted 20 riffs on famous art pieces and styles using their logo. They were displayed like an art show at the anniversary show itself—and put on special edition posters to be handed out, too. I even got to go to Chicago to be at the taping in person (AND MY NAME WAS IN THE CREDITS! 🌟).
These horrifyingly fun stickers of host Peter Sagal and scorekeeper Bill Curtis were part of another little artist collab with Jennifer Mills. What started as a giveaway for a special kids' edition of Wait Wait expanded into a larger set, and became prize badges for the at-home smart speaker quiz!
